Custom / Made to order
Custom acrylic laboratory equipment
Glove boxes, vacuum chambers, instrument enclosures and transparent research columns built around a reviewed specification.
Made to order
Each custom build is quoted for its confirmed dimensions, construction, interfaces and operating requirements. Review the specification, final price and lead time before ordering.
Request a quote01 / Use & operation
Uses & operating limits
Start with a custom design when a standard A, B or D model does not meet the required working space, access geometry, interfaces or process conditions.
Send a sketch or drawing and describe the work performed inside. Identify whether the main chamber, antechamber or both must be evacuated; a purging chamber is not automatically vacuum-capable.
- Equipment types
- Glove boxes, vacuum chambers, instrument enclosures and transparent research columns
- Working dimensions
- Confirmed from the minimum clear internal space and loading requirements
- Interfaces
- Agreed gas, vacuum, cable, sensor and liquid connections
- Construction and duty
- Reviewed for the chamber size and approved operating requirements
02 / Models & dimensions
Models & dimensions
Provide the minimum clear internal W × D × H, equipment dimensions and the clearance needed for operation. Include the loading opening and the available bench or installation space.
Drawings can be supplied as PDF, DWG or STEP, or as a clear dimensioned sketch. The final drawing confirms panel thickness, access arrangement, reinforcement and fitting positions.
03 / Included & optional
Standard equipment & options
Standard supply
Supply is defined by the confirmed quotation and drawing. There is no universal custom-build package.
- Agreed chamber dimensions and construction
- Listed doors, lids, gloves and sealing arrangements
- Listed ports, valves, feedthroughs and integrated equipment
Pumps, analyzers, gas purification equipment and external pipework are included only when expressly listed.
Optional configuration
Options and performance requirements are reviewed for your selected chamber and quoted separately. Only equipment listed in the confirmed order is included.
Working space, doors & gloves
Specify the minimum clear internal space, equipment loading dimensions and door clearance. Nominal chamber dimensions do not account for every panel, fitting or access constraint. Send a drawing or sketch if fit is critical.
Alternative glove materials, sleeves, glove-port locations and spare gloves require confirmation of mounting and sealing compatibility.
Gas, vacuum & liquid connections
Specify nitrogen/argon supply, pump connection and the number and location of gas, vacuum and liquid interfaces. Dedicated KF25 connections can be reviewed alongside other application-specific fittings.
Include tubing dimensions, equipment connections and any external components that should be quoted.
Internal power & cable access
Confirm plug type, supply voltage and the total electrical load. A power strip supplies equipment inside the chamber; instrument signal leads, sensor cables and liquid lines can require separate sealed interfaces.
Additional cable feedthroughs and application-specific interfaces are quoted to suit the selected equipment.
Temperature & humidity control
Temperature and humidity modules are supplied as part of a complete AcrylLAB chamber system, with the agreed integration installed and tested before shipment.
Send the temperature range, humidity or moisture target and units, chamber size, internal heat or moisture sources, gas supply and door-opening frequency. Achievable performance and any acceptance conditions are confirmed for the selected configuration.
Sensors, measurement & purification
Specify the parameter, range, unit and required accuracy. Relative humidity (% RH), trace moisture (ppm H₂O) and oxygen concentration are different requirements.
A basic monitor does not remove moisture or oxygen. Trace-level analyzers, drying equipment and active gas purification or recirculation must be separately specified and quoted.
Pressure duty & construction
State the target pressure, holding time and whether the duty applies to the main chamber, antechamber or both. Vacuum capability must be confirmed for the actual design.
Chamber size and pressure duty can require thicker acrylic and reinforcement. Construction, operating limits and any agreed acceptance conditions are identified in the final drawing and quotation.
04 / Ordering & delivery
Ordering & delivery
- Share requirements. Send the process, drawing, dimensions, interfaces, quantity and destination.
- Review the design. Confirm construction, working space, operating limits and equipment scope.
- Approve the quotation and drawing. Confirm price, applicable payment requirements, production schedule and freight.
- Production and delivery. Equipment is checked and packed for the agreed transport arrangement.
For institutional purchasing, include your billing name/address, delivery contact and any quotation, PI or PO reference. Credit terms apply only when separately agreed in writing.
